The PSC 107 website is an essential tool for students enrolled in the course. The website has five main sections:
PSC 107 Home
- The About PSC 107 page provides basic information about the course, inculding a list of course topics, texts, and an overview of the grading policy. It also has links to resources and UCD policy pages. You can download the course syllabus from this page as well.
- The Contacts page lists office hours and locations, email addresses, and phone numbers for Professor Herek and Mr. Sims, the Teaching Assistant.
Assignments
- On the Assignments page, you can download a preliminary list of lecture topics, assignment due dates, and assigned readings. Detailed information about the homework assignments and term project is also available.
Weekly Updates
This section provides a week-by-week guide to the course. Each page includes downloadable lecture outlines, class handouts, important deadlines, the latest information about reading assignments and class critiques, quiz/exam information, and other material and resources you’ll need for successfully completing the course. It will be updated regularly throughout the quarter. Check it at least once per week.
Suggestions for Further Reading
This section lists additional readings you can consult to obtain more information about the topics discussed during each week's class lectures. Many of the readings can be downloaded directly from this page, using the course password.
